About Tony Harding
Hello and Welcome. My name is Tony Harding, and I own Tony’s Driving school offering driving lessons in Hinckley, Burbage, Lutterworth, Broughton Astley, Stoney Stanton, Sapcote, Earl Shilton, Barwell and surrounding areas.
As a caring and compassionate motorist, I decided to become a driving instructor and use my skills to help people to learn to drive. I’m fully focused on ensuring learner drivers fully anticipate the potential actions of other drivers, increasing their confidence and overall road awareness, always with safety in mind. My thoughtful and patient approach has seen myself excel in helping learners pass their test and take to the road as fully-fledged independent drivers.
DRIVING LESSONS
There is no minimum or maximum amount of training that should be given. Every learner is an individual. The DVSA (Driving Vehicle Standards Agency) recommend around 40 – 60 hours of tuition for a 17-year-old. However, the amount of time it will take to get you to test standard is dependent on your own aptitude and personal rate of learning. Some students need less amount of training than this and some need more. Pretty soon into your driving lessons I will be able to advise when I think approximately you will be test ready.
PASS PLUS ADVANCED DRIVER TRAINING
Pass Plus advanced driver training can help lower your car insurance premiums. If you’re a recently qualified driver who’s tired of not being able to find budget car insurance deals when comparing the market, then one possible solution is to consider taking advanced driving courses.
Pass Plus is designed for all car drivers holding a full driving licence, but is primarily aimed at newly qualified drivers. Generally, those who have held a full driving licence for less than 12 months. Completing a Pass Plus driver training course will enable you to apply for a discounted car insurance with approved insurers once you’ve finished the training.
THEORY TEST TUITION
Before you can take your practical driving test, you will need to pass your driving theory test. This is a critical part of learning to drive, you will need to show that you can use what you learn for this test when you’re driving on the road. It is important that you prepare thoroughly for your theory test. There is a lot to learn about the rules of the road. The more prepared you are, the more likely you are to pass first time, which will save you valuable time and money that retaking the test will cost.
We will guide you through the driving theory criteria and help you prepare for both parts of the test.
